Applied AI Engineer (with LangGraph/MCP)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer or LangGraph Developer to support the creation of a multi-agent orchestration system designed to accelerate SEO workflows across a portfolio of school websites. This short-term engagement (approximately 2–3 weeks) will involve building multi-agent automation on the MCP framework, integrating several data sources, and supporting a human-in-the-loop validation process.
The ideal candidate has practical, hands-on experience delivering real multi-agent systems (not just theoretical knowledge) and is comfortable working at pace within a hybrid environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a multi-agent LangGraph/MCP-based orchestration system consisting of 4–5 specialised agents and a central orchestrator.
- Implement automation supporting SEO tasks including content rewriting, data gathering, and technical checks for school websites.
- Integrate with required APIs and data sources, including:
- Google Search Console APIs
- SCM
- RSS MCP APIs
- Google Trends
- Airtable (as the main data repository)
- Additional SEO-related sources as needed
- Build workflows that include a human validator/verifier who can check data correctness, reject results, or ask agents to retrieve more data.
- Collaborate directly with Floyd to rapidly iterate on system design and functionality over a 2–3 week sprint.
- Ensure automation aligns with existing SEO project workflows, including both ongoing “in-flight” projects and accelerated “lift and shift” SEO methodologies.
- Participate in onsite working sessions (4 days per week in London office).
- Ensure data and workflow handling adheres to safeguarding standards—no handling of images until DBS is complete.
Required Experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying LangGraph or similar multi-agent orchestration systems.
- Proven delivery of real-world MCP projects beyond academic or theoretical exposure.
- Strong grasp of multi-agent frameworks, orchestration patterns, and structured automation design.
- Experience integrating APIs such as Google Search Console, RSS, and third‑party data platforms.
- Working knowledge of SEO operational processes is beneficial.
- Ability to work quickly, iterate, and problem-solve collaboratively.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience working within education or regulated sectors.
- Background in SEO automation, technical SEO, or content workflow engineering.
- Familiarity with Airtable automations and schema design.
Work Arrangement & Compliance
- Hybrid: 4 days per week in the London office, 1 day from home.
- Must supply own laptop.
- DBS Check required – candidates may start while checks are in progress, provided they avoid handling images and sign NDAs.
