About the Role
We are looking for a driven individual to join a growing sales team as an Internal Business Development Executive.
This is a proactive, outbound B2B sales role focused on generating new business, re-engaging dormant accounts, and building a strong customer pipeline. You will be speaking with clients regularly, identifying opportunities, and converting leads into active accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Contact dormant and prospective customers via telephone
Build and develop relationships with new and existing clients
Convert enquiries into active trading accounts
Prepare and present quotations and pricing proposals
Manage inbound enquiries from marketing and website channels
Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline updates
Identify and escalate larger opportunities to external sales teams
Support onboarding and initial customer activity
Requirements
Previous experience in sales, telesales, or business development
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Target-driven mindset with a proactive approach
Comfortable working to KPIs and activity targets
Experience using CRM systems
Resilient and motivated attitude
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
